Sridhar is a native of Hyderabad, very normal, casual and spiritual individual with high spirits and confidence. I took birth in the year 1983, 1st September in a village by name Yacharam.
Yacharam is a small village located in Rangareddy dist 45 kms away from Hyderabad, capital of the Andrapradesh. It is also a mandal head quarters consists of several Govt. and Mandal development offices. It’s a beautiful village surrounded with the forms and agricultural land. I love my village because of its purity and nature. We also have a several temples and masques; the most I love is Saibaba temple located in outskirts of the village. This is the place where all the villagers love to visit and spend weekends with their family.
The other place which I love most in the village is my family home. It may be a place to live for anybody else for me it is a P’a’lace to live. The reason is my grandparents live there not only that; it’s the place where I learned to walk, eat, speak and learn. This home witnessed every first move of mine along with my family. Family, yes family, a sweet word in the dictionary, for the first time in my life I tasted this sweetness in this home. This may be another reason to love this P’a’lace. Ours is a big family consist my grandparents, 5 uncles, 5 aunts, my parents and our selves. Everyone in my family is into business including my father. My father, a hero of my life he taught me how to live simple and happy life. He is very hard working and passionate in his profession. By the way my father is a Govt. employee also, he is the one who worked day and night for his family and gave them a better life. We are two siblings, me and my sister but my father always used to say that he has 4 sons and 2 daughters. Other 3 sons and 1 daughter are his brothers and sister. That’s why he is the hero of my life.
Apart from this there is another family who played a vital role in my growth; I hope you can imagine who that is. Yes absolutely correct it is my maternal family, this family made a big role in my early days. Here I learned to care, share, and play, what not, everything which helped in my success.
The most interesting part is my Father is eldest in my paternal family and My Mother is eldest in my maternal family. So my Dad’s responsibility is increased as my maternal grandfather took an entry to heaven in the year 1995. My mother, she is my hope, she is my confidence, she is my love, and she is everything for me. She was there with me in every moment. I passed very tough and difficult phases of my life with the help of my mother. Whenever I feel down, immediately I remember my Mom’s lap, that’s the heaven for me, that is everything for me. Mom, that word triggers happiness within me from the bottom of my tummy. Without her love, support, co-ordination, co-operation and her hard working, we are nowhere. Mom used to take care of the business at home and dad, his duty. Both of them worked hard to fulfill their dreams.
Dream to have an own home, struggled, hard worked and achieved their dream in 1995; we had a small and sweet home in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. Another dream to give a comfortable home for their kids, we reconstructed our home in the year 2005 as per my mom’s taste. Want to have flavor of my mom’s taste, just visit my place, you feel like entering into the heaven. A duplex home with a big hall, 3 bedrooms, 1 Kitchen, 1 guest room and the most loving and precious place our pooja room. She also built two portions for tenants. That shows my Mom’s planning towards the future. They planed each every day of their life so that they can give a better and good life to me and my sister.
My sister, Swathi; cute, loving, caring, and encouraging she is the one who supported and craved for my good. She is not less than my mother in correcting me whenever I am taking wrong steps. I can’t imagine my life without my sister. She is my love, she is my friend and she is everything. We are very close to each other unlike any other siblings as me and my sister studied in same class and same school. My sister is very good at studies, we always used to competent in studies and ranks. We were always together. Together in going School, home, and going to friend’s places and everywhere. One way I am lucky to have my sister in same class, she will be completing my home work and projects. Another way it is unlucky as I cannot bunk the classesJ. We shared most interesting and loving moment of our life. I feel I am very lucky to be part of this family. But I am missing my sister from last one month as she got married and went to her in-law’s place. It is another cute, sweet and big day in our lives, Nov 11th 2009. That is the day when my sister’s wedding got settled and we are kicked of the arrangements. Those days we were very busy in making arrangement to celebrate most painful and happiest moment of our lives. 25th Nov 2009, a big day, we celebrated my sister’s wedding. That is unforgettable day in my family, everyone is happy with everyone and everything. Still those arrangements are in front of my eyes, a big Mandap, more than 1000 people, almost 10 videographers, 20 people band, big music system, crackers, flowers and food. Big attraction is dining hall, 17 kinds of food, and 72 items with small stall setting. My favorites are Chinese setting and the girls from Mumbai to serve. Setting resembled a small china town. I really love it and very proud, because I myself made all those arrangement with the help of my parents and uncles. Please visit the gallery to have a flavor of the wedding.
I think words in my dictionary are completed; I am unable to link my topic, so directly jumping to tell about myself.
Many people say that Sridhar is very normal and casual individual but I don’t agree as my life was not normal. I did many adventures throughout my life. If I turn back and see there are many turns, I was always looking for the change. Change in my style, my speech, change in my ranks, change in my friends, change in my career, in everything I looked for change. I am a combination Moderate, Traditional, Spiritual and socialite. I am a unlike combination, I love to go to temple on Thursday and I don’t mind to go Disco on Sunday.
I started my schooling at SAGARMATHA in the year 1988; SAGARMATHA is a well known Christian missionary nearby Yacharam village. I studied there till 2nd standard and moved to Hyderabad along with my parents. I and my sister joined in same 3rd standard in Prashanthi vidyaniketan High school, which we call it as PVNHS in short. This school is very famous in Vanasthalipuram area for Telugu medium studies. I am in the same school till my 10th standard. My schooling days are very important and joyful. Each day is filled with so much of learning and fun. Every day is a new day, adventures, learning’s, fighting’s and many more. I spent half of my life here and that half making me live other half comfortably. This is the place where I exposed to the world and got introduced to many people. Here I came across many things; sweet and important thing is I got introduced to very important people who contributed vital role in my life. Raghu, Gangadhar, Chadra shaker, Santhosh are some of them. I still remember my class teachers scolding my friends comparing with me. My best teacher is my class teacher Sabitha madam. She taught us till 5th standard. After that we moved to other building for higher schooling, where I met Rambabu sir, Srinivas sir, Laxmi madam and Chandra reddy sir our principal, Parvathi madam our correspondent. When I am writing this, I remember a funny incident, my social madam was dictating the notes and told KARAMPUDI (It’s a village name), immediately one of my fellow student asked which brand madam and whole class room is busted. KARAMPODI means Mirchi powder in Telugu, actually my madam speaking about the village name. If I want to write about my school days these pages and words are not enough to explain. Can I tell you one thing; I never got beatings from any of the teacher in my school. I was a very good sports guy, used to play Kho- Kho [1] and Cricket. I represented Rangareddy dist. team in inter districts competition. Participated in Independence and republic day parades, represented my school in many tournaments. Ranks, rewards, prizes, marks, sports, everything I feel I am very much successful in my schooling till 10th standard. Everything is going good and here comes most tough part of the schooling, 10th board examinations. Oh god, it’s like preparing for a battle. Extra classes, night classes, tough part is night classes – need to study till late and get up early in the morning. At last we reached to the date on which we are going to face the first battle of the life. After examinations results which is positive in my case and negative for some of my friends. Most of us are passed and ready for partying. I think that was my first or second movie in my life.
Now time for choosing the college, group and medium I was very confident and decided to take the MPC group. At last after lot of brain storming sessions with family and friends, I took MPC in English medium and joined one of the reputed colleges in twin cities [2]. Chaitanya Junior College, English medium, very strict college May be because of teachings are in English or the college is very strict, I don’t know the exact reason but I dint like the college and the lecturers. I asked mom and dad discussed several times and moved to another college in my area. After passing out, I took long term coaching to get a good EAMCET [3] rank.
But lost interest in engineering, as all of my friends are joining and I don’t want to follow others and want to do which is not regular. I joined mathematics integrated course in university of Madras where I need to study only Mathematics and no other subjects.
In my second year of graduation, I Joined standard charted bank as a Sales officer. Here my career starts, it was very good learning. Daily meetings with new people and speaking to big company employees, explaining about the bank products and selling them it was like training session for my future aspects. The stint was only for 6motnhs that’s why I don’t mention this in my career profile. But this stint is basement for my career and dreams. Dream to work in HITECH city, Dream to work in corporate, Dream to work in a company like SATYAM. After successful completion of six months I was offered by ICICI bank as a Phone Banking Officer in Hitech city office, located in Cyber gateways. It’s like my dream come true to work in a building like cyber gateways, always used to dream of working in the big companies whenever I go for sales. ICICI Bank is a place where every career starter should work, so much of work and so much of learning. Learning which is enough to live whole life. Almost three years moving one dept to another, back office, font office, operations, RTQM, and MIS. Sreedhar Pillarao, I will be a stupid if I am not mentioning his name here. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his guidance, knowledge sharing, support and everything. He is one of my role models. After ICICI Bank, I aimed to move to a MNC company, after several trials not many; I got into Bank of America Continuum solutions in MIND space, Hitech city. Working for another big company, corporate culture, CAB doorstep pick and drop, royal food, posh team members, week end parties, movies everything, here only I learned to enjoy and became socialite. I was the most happening guy in my friends circle as everyone else was studying their Post graduation and I am only working while doing my PG in distance. I still remember I never used to remove my company TAG after coming out of the office also – show offJ. Sanchita Kerkar my reporting manager, the most beautiful and tough woman I have seen in my life. She is very good at administration but not so in people management but very brave and tough in taking decisions. Not so much of learning in BACS but I learned how to take decisions in tough time from Sanchita. Not many new friends, not from ICICI and not from BACS. But couple of team members is in touch. All my team members are in same organization still. As the work profile is very monotonous I was looking for change, not only in organization also in work profile. With the gods grace got a call from one of the software companies in Twin cities [2]. LERA Technologies a new turn in my career both salary wise and work wise. There I undergone in intensive training on TEMENOS T24 Core banking system. Unexpectedly company was not doing well so decided to move out of the company. Durai, my RM who introduced my profile to SATYAM computers. One fine morning got a call from SATYAM and made another dream of mine come true. This is the dream I saw when I was working with standard chartered bank. All together a different company, different profile, different kind of people, different kind of management, everything was very new and took a lot of time to mingle and adjust mean while many differences with my RM, team members. As time passing I adjusted to the work nature and was very happy by learning sessions and new works. November 2008, new project into our basket then real work started and worked hard to meet the expectations. January 2009, all are shocked and terrified listening to the Ramalingaraju’s resignation and confession. Once again job insecurity feeling but should continue the work to achieve the project expectations and no other opportunities to go out because of the market down. Double the work load, project work as well as the insecurity depression at last the day came, 7th August 2009 internal news about VPP, 9th of the same month we were all in VPP. The first thing I did after listening to the VPP news is booking tickets to Varadiah palem, Golden City. Went to temple and did my service and participated in Level 2 Maha deeksha. After staying there for 20 days in two intervals, I came back and helping my friend setting up his own call centre. In parallel looking for some other opportunities out of those trials got offer from IBM Bangalore. In same time period my RM Venkatesen Muthusamy from SATYAM called and asked to rejoin the company as project demanding my presence. I said ok and joined Mahindra Satyam as I also not interested in moving out from Hyderabad. This time again a new task, testing, system integration testing. Actively participating and working beyond the work hours to meet the team target. Now I am in Bahrain supporting UAT.
Kingdom of Bahrain is a liberal Islamic country and a nice place to work. Now I am working in one of the world tallest buildings, WORLD TRADE CENTRE, Kingdom of Bahrain. Everything is going good apart from the work pressure and timings. Not so much to say about Bahrain as I dint see any of the places because of odd timings. One better thing for Indians is we will get all kinds of Indian food and ingredients in super markets unlike any other countries. Planning to travel back on January 5th can’t say anything till the time I flight.
This is one side of Sridhar; there are many other things yet to know in my next editions about my Spiritual life, journey towards success and my services.
[1]: Kho- Kho is an Indian game. It is popular in the whole of India. It originated at Pune Gymkana in the state of Maharashtra. Its team in India is called Kho- Kho Federation of India (K.K.F.I).
